Temperance Torque :(

But wait wafik! There’s a Temperance Torque in the pool! Yes, would be nice and all if we didn’t get that torque over and over and over and over, and instead gotten a hope torque considering we’re 0/2 years now on that thing with a list that grows longer by the day!

We’ve also played around with the fun fluff that this update has brought in, like Moblin Maze Mongers. I took a screenshot showing how we’re the most leet crafting LS ever.

But most importantly we’ve achieved 2 more relics! Congratulations to Isachan and Rainesong on Amanomurakumo (Great Katana) and Excalibur (Sword) !! That makes 9 relics within SML, hopefully plenty more to come

A Malicious Manifest

This week for SML’s random event, we decided to actually do the BCNMs instead of just farming them, in fact we didn’t farm it at all, we wanted to win dangit!
Traded our items to the door and ahead we went, and boy we learned from our mistakes of last time.

The first time we did it, it went terrible, but it was a learning experience as there wasn’t much information about the BCNMs - however I shall share some infos!
The battle is against Tzee Xicu the Manifest + 4x Wind Elementals. Killing these elementals means they’re gone for the rest of the fight, they cannot respawn. This is a good thing, as Tzee can use his 2 hour Astral Flow , however unlike other monsters he doesn’t pop an avatar to flow us with so I’m thinking it’s tied to the elementals (I wonder what happens if he flows with eles up, do they turn into garuda?).

Last time We tried to sleepga the elementals and kill the boss. Elementals came down and raped us. These things are 100% Immune to sleep :p Then we tried to straight tank the NM in the corner while the rest of us kill elementals, aeroga3 spam also ended this for us So we ended up wiping, once again, no information on the fights really.

This time around we decided to kite it from the get go (we were straight tanking it to start with but found kiting it more efficient, less deaths overall). Setups were : PLD PLD WHM BRD SCH (if a rdm logged in we woulda taken a rdm too :p) , RNG RNG DRK BRD WHM , BLU BLM BLM BLM SCH - to the best of my memory, but I am sure I’m forgetting someone. PLDs kite everything downstairs in the biiiiiiiiig open space, or upstairs if they choose also. Elementals have linked hate to the NM so we had a ranger shadowbind one then BLMs go to town. We also had our BLU stunbutting it nonstop so less chance of it moving around. After all eles died, the fight was a joke, keep kiting it and have Rangers/BLMs eat it alive.  End! The Treasure chest pops where Tzee initially spawns.

I didn’t SS both treasure pools, the second pool matched the first one but with even less rare/ex items. Hiss/boo.

Dynamis Tavnazia

Dyna tav was all fun as usual. Today we changed the strat up a bit and finally found our sweet spot. Enough DDs to keep monsters flowing, enough BLM to keep things asleep mostly, enough stunners to keep mobs constantly locked down, enough tanks to not be a burdon! PT setups : PLD/WAR x2 WHM RDM BRD BLU - DRK SAM THF MNK (all /nin) RDM BRD - BLM BLM BLM RNG RNG BRD.

No amazing AF2, but we did get some really nice Hydra pieces! Hydra haubert and brayettes are the two most notable pieces. Xarca AF2 could have only been topped by PUP! We also got 2x -1 legs (not pictured), BLU and DRK.

SML has been doing CoP Dynamoosies recently to work our newer people to Tavnazia (and also my tarutaru character so I can do split runs later!), also inviting our buddies from Pintopia who needed clears too!
Last week was Buburimbu which was kind of scummy in regards to drops, but then Qufim made up for it with items and an M.silverpiece too yay!!

Jam packed day today! Started with Einherjar with SWL, then Dynamis Xarcabard weapon attempt with SML+Friends, then Castle O [S] NMs on the same pace!

Poor amas, he’s going to kill himself when he reads Unfortunately our weapon attempt failed! Stupid thing warped out at 23% , Hopefully next time we don’t get such bad luck on the darned thing.

As for the Castle O NMs, they were quite good! The only one that gave us big trouble was the stupid little Gnat, with 1 mage it kinda sucks, but next time we’ll be better prepared.

Another successful ToAU beastman king team-up for members of SuperWarioLand and friends. After Medusa’s hurtful absence when we went over for tea last week, people were rather upset and decided to teach her a lesson. So this time we didn’t tell her we were coming and we totally walked in on her hanging with her new fish-friends. The subsequent battle was bloody and violent but overall it was a splendid tea party. Future plans: One more Medusa kill for the add party that had to miss the title and then the group moves on to Troll king!

A meaner-than-usual Odin was defeated by SuperWarioLand (Einherjar linkshell composed of SMLers and many friends of theirs), yielding our first ever, long-awaited ebody! Congratulations to Wottles on Ebody, Ddreddie on Hhead, Blackfox on Elegs and Odessa on Abody.
